I am up late and working on sunday school stuff for tommorrow and worrying if I am reaching these kids or not. There are such great kids and I am so blessed to be with them on Sundays. It gives me a boost to my week. They just want to seen and heard and not told what to do. They are 4th 5th and 6 graders. They are the most overlook age group I think in the church system. At least that is what I think. I love teaching and hopfully I am doing a good job. I just pray that I do a half as good job as my youth leaders did when I first got saved. They changed my life and god worked through them mightly. They are such good kids <><
Anyhow, two days until we leave.... I am so excited to see our family again. I know its going to be a long trip. I think its 1,350 miles......25 hours. Prayer will be nice and needed. The kids have done long trips before.
Take care and thanks for reading my blog.
Will write when we get back :0)
God bless <><

My kids are getting older!!
Just the other day I was sorting through Hunter's smaller clothes. I realized that just how much he as grown this year. He is half my size. I am not that tall but still. Then I was holding my daughter and I almost started to cry because she isn't my baby any more. She is right behind Hunter in height and weight. My babies aren't babies anymore!! Its crazy then I thought I wanted another baby. Another crazy thought right....maybe not who knows what the Lord has planned for our family.
Anyhow, I guess that is my thoughts for today. I got to finsh the packing for our family vacation. Clean the house, Everybody likes coming home to a clean and nice smelling house from a long trip. How great it is to be a mother and watch your children grow even though its kind of bitter/sweet for us as mother's.

On this Mother's Day
On this mother's day Ive pondered what it means to be a mother. My days consist of baggy pants, My hair sometimes not brushed, dark spots under my eyes from not getting a peacful rest in about four years. I wonder on this mother's day what my husband thinks of his wife these days. Between the kids pulling us both different directions and just everything else in between. There isn't enough time for more then a kiss and a quick I love you's.
On this Mother's day I think of all the mothers and so to be mothers. How this role I dreamed of since I was a little girl. Is the role of a life time. One God planned for me, for us to do. Crazy thought. Most of the time I wonder what God was thinking when he gave me my children. They are a blank slate and I was the one writing on it. Hoping I was teaching them life skills to live a life worth living.
On this Mother's day I was laying with my kids as they slept, always a peacful moment for mothers. I watched my children and at that quiet moment I just felt that everything was going to be okay and that just how blessed we as women are to call ourselves "Mothers"
I think of all those moments that I cherish in my heart from each child and know the road is going to be hard at times. All I can do is hope in the Lord that he will make the paths straight and lead them to where they belong.
On this Mother's day I haven't worried like I usally do. I know tommorrow will bring more tears and another up hill battle with writing on the tablet of my childrens hearts. At least I know that there is hope for tommorrow. Its not what I have done but what the father has done. Thats enough for me to know that its all going to be okay.

Just thoughts on paper.........
I lived 30 some odd years, I am still learning the ways to live a life worth calling my own and leaving behind some kind of legacy for my children and their children. Ive asked myself what is worthy to leave behind? I know I have funny stuff to tell my children when they get older and some stories when the time is right of things they shouldn't do to prevent heartache and just things they will regart when they get older. I know I want them to love Jesus and change the world as they see fit.
I look back to my younger years and I know I had alot to learn and life seemed so much bigger then. Now I look at it and it seems smaller. I dont know its because when your younger adults seem to be on another level and had it all together. I so don't have it together. I am holding on my fingernails. I am figuring out things I was never taught. Learning as I go and hoping my children won't grow up to hate me for screwing them up. I am learning how to be a good wife and put him first. To support him and listen to him and to love him even after almost seven years and two kids.
I have everything I ever wanted but still feel like I am lacking in the God area because I am so tired by the end of the day. Its more practial now when your older and a mother then before it was more passion. I need some of the passion though, It would be nice to feel that fire I once felt but maybe that is apart of growing up? maybe so knows.
I am up late and writing crazy late night thoughts......and well if you have any thoughts then tell me. Maybe I am not the only crazy one out there.
Goodnight,
A wife, a mom, a christian who loves the Lord and sort of adult.....
