Easter pictures

These pictures couldnt of turned out better even if a professional did it. I perosnally like the kids picture better but oh well.
I hope ya'll have a great a blessed Easter.
He died for our sins but rose again to give us hope.

Boys will be boys

Yesterday my son did something that is such a boy thing. I left a box of Plaster of Paris and he got into it. He thought it was snow and threw it all over their playroom. Up the walls, all over their toys and well just plain EVERYWHERE including themselves.
We...both Scott and I wanted to scream!!!! Hunter kept up saying its like snow mommy.
Well, just a little insight in my life with children and well a boys life..... :0)

Bringing up boys

I am reading this amazing book by Dr.Dobson. I am only at chapter three but it still has brought insight to some of the problems Ive been having with my son. Well, its not problems but issues. He is loud and aggressive, He always going and going until be time. Its very exhusting. I am learning thats how boys are. This book is going to be handy.

SuperHero's and Princess's

As my daughter pulls out a dress from her dresser she exclaims to everyone around her...."I'm a princess" With confience she smiles and dances around for all to look to admire her. After stopping and loving her for just being so cute. I wonder where that child likeness comes from and how did I lose this passion to be anything I dream of?
As my son flies around the house and screams on the top of his lungs "I am SuperMan" and runs around the room like their is nothing is his way of saving his sister from sharks. I kinda laugh to myself and started to think again. Both of my kids are not that far apart in age but still for some reason they both in this young age are passionate about being something great.
Isnt that amazing? At three and two they desire to save the world and they have the confience to scream it at the top of their lungs. When is the last time we really beleived we could change the world or even had such confiedence in ourselves and the love of our lord that we can do anything in him who gives us strengh?
God whispers to us in our souls to draw us nearer to him and to draw those around us to have a relationship with christ. How do we unbury ourselfs from this world of do's and don'ts. To truely live how God designed us to live? To find that childlikeness that God gave us to be superhero's and princess's

started a new bible study

I just started "Believing God" by Beth Moore.... I just did day one in the book and I hope I am not over my hear. I used to be able to be a deep thinker and write alot. Now I sit and think about the question and get lost. I dont know if its because I am a mother now and its hard for me to sit and think without getting sleepy or thinking of something I need to do. Crazy how life changes us. I did finsh but it took me a while...... I hope I am not over my head but I am ready for God to teach this old pup a new lesson or a old one I have forgotten. :0) Verse for today from my book.
Ephesians 1:19
His incomparably great power for us who beleive......is like the working of his mighty strengh

sayings my me!!

I was thinking of these when I was trying to put the kids down for bedtime.
Five things I have learned being a mother.
1. Who needs a napkin when you got a mother to wipe your hands on.
2. the nose is a porthole to another universe.
3. When you think it won't get worse that is always another diaper to change
4. A shower is a life time away
5. a date what is that?

Sunday Morning

Its sunday morning and I am just sitting here kind of getting ready for church. I was just sitting which dosen't happen much. The kids are watching t.v...drinking my hot coffee...which is my favorite thing to do outside of long showers whenever I can get them. My two cats are playing which is fun to watch!!! Sometimes life gets so fast its hard just sit and watch it then you realize just how great life is!!
I know myself I get so stressed out alot of the time and need to just breathe. Someone told me once before that this life isnt a dress rehersal....this is it. That is scarey to me. I need to have a thankful heart and be blessings to others around me. That is the gift that God has given to me. Empathy to others. I can use that. Maybe not change the world but maybe be a light to the person beside me at church or in line at walmart. Even my husband and children ( which I hope I already do)
Anyhow, Kids are needing to get dressed and I still need to get ready myself. Have a great sunday morning.

I am back!!!

Hello, we just came back from a family vist to the great state of Ohio.....We visted Scott's family and got really cold there. Haha us warm blooded texans. Anyhow, the vist went well. The kids played in the snow for the first time and made snow angels (which was on the top of Hunters list of things to do other then hug grandma!!) We had a snow ball fight and even went sleding!!! It was the most fun I have in years. It was a good vist and glad to be back somewhere where it is a little warmer then it was there in Ohio.

Its late and I am deep thought mood.. I was thinking when I was laying down with my children and I was thinkingof gettting older. I will be turning 30 this year and was wondering where did all that fire go. When I was younger I thought that I would change the world and instead I think the world or living in it has changed me. Weird I know but I was just thinking and that is dangerous. I want to live my life and not miss anything but sometimes its hard to enjoy it sometimes. Like I am wishing I was somewhere else or if I was doing something other then being married with children. Isnt that just the meanest thing could say. I even found it hard to write it. Its very true and I dont know why. I love my life and love my two wonderful children but sometimes I wonder is this what the Lord intended for me and did I take the wrong path? Am I doing what I was made to do?
I am wondering is this normal? I feel lost like time is just flying by and I am just seeing it pass by like when you are looking out a window in a car or a plane. Helpless and not in control of what is happening.
MY kids are up and crying for me got to go.............this is three times now.goodnight

Hello again!

Well, Its been a while since I last blogged. We have had a couple new things happen to our family. We got a new cat, Her name is Esther. We got her through a lady at our church. Esther is so cute. She is all white but her ears and tail. She is very shy but loves to be with me when the kids go down to bed. Diseal at first didnt like her but she was playing with Esther this morning so I think they are starting to get along. Yahoo!!!
Hunter started soccer this week. He is really cute.....he now knows you dont touch the ball and you kick the ball into the net. Haha its really funny to watch these three year olds running after the ball. I think its great that he is just getting out and meeting kids his age and getting rid of all that boy energy!!!
Kenzie goes to the kids zone while he plays. So she gets to play with kids her age as well. She is such a princess in training. I love the stages they are both into right now. Even though I do miss the baby stage. They grow up so fast.
Please let me know that you are reading my blog even if its just hello....so far only kirk has left a message. Take care and God bless <><

Merry christmas and happy new year :0)

Good morning ya'll, Its been a while since I last blogged.....things have been busy getting ready for christmas. Cleaning the house and making sure everything is all great for the holiday season that is apon us. We finshed the slate tile and it looks great and we just steamed clean our carpets and they look great. A nice clean house for christmas.....thats all I need!!!!!

Life has been good for us......went on a date with Scott a couple of weeks ago.....went to see the new James Bond movie.....it was the best one we think. Very different style from the rest they have done over the years But they went back to the basics with this one and it did it good in doing so. One for the collection!!!!!! It was our third date this year....hopfully next year we will go on more dates. It was weird for us...no kids hanging off of us...we wactually held hands....wow thats a new one for us :0) Hahaha its funny when you got kids being alone together is a treat. Gotta do it again.

The kids are doing great.....everyday is christmas for them.....or they want it to be to make a cake for Jesus. Its his birthday...they are running around singing happy birthday to Jesus....how cute. They have made christmas fun for us again. I can't wait in Febuary we are going to vist family in Ohio.....havent seen them since June. Its been a while. The kids are missing their grandma. Hopfully we are able to also go to Michgian this summer to see their other side of the family....like their great grandparents......that would be nice....we'll see what happens. They usally do something in July. Keep that in prayer.

Thats it merry christmas and well have a geat new year to come 2007......Ahhhhh that is weird

slate tile in the living room.....

Here is a picture of our new slate tile.....kind of blurry but oh well...it gives you an idea of what we have been up to these past two weeks. Alot of trips to Ikea to figure our what kind of bookcases we wanted to buy......we ended up with the LACK series.....black brown. It looks great and it frames our flate screen t.v.
I will take another picture next time I just don't want to get up right now and down load it on the computer. So, yeah our newer living room is looking pretty and no carpet. Thats all I care about. If I had my way all the carpet would be gone in the major junctions in the house. It just gets too dirty when you have kids. Its hard to keep on top of them all of the time. Or at least I do.
I am also ready for christmas. sent our all the christmas cards and packages, bought for the kids and husband. Nothing to do but wait for christmas eve. What a great feeling.....we are broke but I am finshed!!!!!!! Oh, I forgot I do need to take the kids to go and see santa claus.....haven't done that yet. I wonder how they will react to him. I am guessing that Kenzie won't sit on him that long....but Hunter will cause he loves everyone...kenzie is more like her father and is cautious...:0)
thats all folks goodnight and sweet dreams <>< bernadette

happy birthday to Mackenzie

It was my daughters birthday yesterday and she turned two.....crazy but anyhow she got some girly things like a baby cabbpatch doll (which she loves) and a cool purse with little toys in it.. Like a play lipstick, cell phone and play money. I picked everything out. I love having a girl :0)
Anyhow, its cold enough here to wear gloves and a hat. Which she loved for the first time since last year.......:0) Anyhow, gotta go and work out at the Ymca. catch ya on the flip side <><

Here are some more pictures of my cuties, How can you not love them!!! My husband put easter eggs that they have been playing with ever since easter on Kenzies ears. It was a very funny moment. My son is such a little ham. Here he saw me playing with the camera and he said mommy....cheese. what could of done but snap a picture of it. Scott is off at work and the kids are sleeping and it seems like nothing is on the t.v. on saturdays. You would think there would be but all the shows I watch are during the week.
I cannot beleive that my daughter is going to be two this december.....I want to keep her small but I know growing is apart of life and as well letting go our children into Gods hands. Its hard even for me to even imagine allowing my children going into the school system. I still have time to get used to them going to school. I know I am not gifted enough to home school even though there is apart of me that really wants to because then I can protect them. Anyhow, that is a whole different story altogether. My husband beleives that school is a good thing and that nothing will happen or damage them beyond repair.
Still getting used to my contacts...they switched my strength but I am having problems focusing on the right eye. I might call the doc on Monday. Glasses seems to be easier.
But its nice to see my eyes not under my glasses. Its somthing different :0) We put up our christmas tree and the cat seems to love eating it. Between the cat and the kids I don't know what is going to left of it at christmas.
Anyhow, I guess thats enough nothings for now....its weird when its quiet I get so bored. I wish I could be comfortable with queitness. Its never been my speciality. I think its just my personality. I have calmed down alot since high school but still have some things that will never change. Maybe thats why when I am alone I always have the T.V. on or the radio. Anyhow, have a great sunday morning and until next time <><

Happy Thanksgiving

We just had a great family thanksgiving...well the best you can have away from attended family. Here are some pictures of the kids and us the parents. Its the first picture with my contacts. Everything went successful with our dinner. I manage to cook everything just right. We even made homemade pies. Pumkin and cherry. Yummy......tonight we had my favorite cold turkey sandwiches.....:0) My husband didn't like it but we surely did. I watched the history channel last night about how thanksgiving started. I am glad that thanksgiving cannot be commercialized like christmas has been. You get eat great food and spend time with family or like we did some friends. Just to be be glad for what the Lord has given you.....
I am thankful for the life the Lord has given me, the husband and the children. They enrich my life every single minute of the day. <><

just stuff :0)

As I am sitting here watching one of my favorite tv shows...Battlestar Gallactica I thought I should write I am so excited about the new James Bond movie!!! Probably won't see until it comes out on video. (But we might get a babysitter if we are lucky.)

We are getting ready to have a thanksgiving dinner and this year we are going to have guests from India. They work with Scott and they never had a turkey feast. I am going to bake pumkin pie and cherry pie by myself.....I wonder how its going to turn out.

I went to the grand opening to Ikea two days ago....It was amazing!!! I found the bed and the bedding I am going to get for Mackenzie for her 2nd birthday. Its so reasonable priced compared to all those other stores. I also found my coach and oversized arm chairs that I am going to buy next year. Also my wood flooring for the hallway all reasonable priced...... I am so excited to get rid of the carpeting that the kids have messed up. Lots to do in the next year coming up. :0)

My little girl birthday is coming up on the dec 1st, she going to be two years old, its amazing to me how two years can fly by. She is my little butterfly...growing up everyday. She probably our last child we'll have naturally but down the road we are going to adopt a foster child...an older one but when the kids are older. Scott thinks they have the right to be the oldest and so they can truley understand and be part of the process. Which is something I didn't think of. Of course my better half thinks of things I never think of. He's amazing man and I am so blessed to call him my husband. <><
